The HyProCure surgery I had on October 2nd, 2019 went really well! Stitches came out on October 14th. The incision is healing well and I can shower without anything covering my foot. After 2 weeks I do not feel like theirs anything in my left foot with the hyprocure implant. If I step in a strange way or evert my foot fully I can feel something of a sharp pain. I really have to try to produce that pain and even that will dissipate in time with healing. I already notice a relief in the plantar fascia on the medial side of the foot. I'm even favoring my left foot to stand. Unfortunately I have to wait for the right foot to be done. This is definitely a life changing surgery for me. Lets look at the photos!

My surgery was at a ambulatory surgical center and I was prepped, ready to go in the morning. The surgery itself was done with a numbing topical on the foot along with a twilight amount of anesthesia on the left foot. It is fairly quick about 15 minutes and the surgeon is done. It was announced during the surgery since I was partially awake that I got a size 05 stent. This means its a 5 millimeter hyprocure device. This might be the smallest size I am not sure yet but they go up to 10. They absolutely should hand you a card with a picture of the hyprocure device and size number in your feet (see below). This is for any medical center before they take an MRI to understand you have titanium in your body. I am now on antibiotics and painkillers. I only needed the painkillers the first 2 nights then its just a mobile issue. You wear a boot for about 2 weeks or so before you get the bandages off at the doctor's office. So far weight bearing is painful but tolerable to get around...

Hello my name is Robert Macina and this is my hyprocure (http://www.hyprocure.com) surgery and recovery blog! I received this surgery on October 2nd, 2019 on the left foot and will hopefully have positive things to say about the results. I have a background in anatomy and physiology through studying massage therapy at the Swedish Institute in Manhattan, NY. I've been in practice for a year and recently have stumbled upon this surgery by looking into a flat foot Doctor located in Hopewell, NY. Doctor Christos Kyrou DPM has done over 300 of these surgeries and is a master surgeon in this technique. I researched it before my first visit with him and thought it might be what I need to fix my flat feet. After my first visit he thought I was a great candidate! He put my foot on a fluoroscopy and showed me the area of insertion for the hyprocure device. Since I have flexible flat feet I can reproduce an arch which opens up the sinus tarsi, this is where it will go (see belo...
